Oceans For All

Oceans For All is an environmental education initiative that seeks to raise awareness among future generations about the functioning, importance and threats of marine and coastal ecosystems.

For this project, TierrAmar will visit public schools located on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of Colombia to teach students about our marine ecosystems. On each visit, the marine ecology booklet Oceans: The Origin of Life written by TierrAmar's ecologist will be distributed to all participant students and teachers as a complement to the lectures. At the end, a coastal restoration activity, such as mangrove planting or a beach cleanup, will be carried out with the students and teachers.
